As a marketing director of the company’s marketing department, I have decided to come up with a new campaign for our brand “Holiday-Inn”. One of the biggest things people restrain from going on vacations is affordability. There are a lot of beautiful places out there that you would want to visit and stay at, but most times it can be expensive just to get there.


We know it can be a difficult task to Choose your own vehicle for a long drive or renting a vehicle. Choosing your own vehicle means, depreciating it by putting miles on it and if you drive an older vehicle you have the risk of breaking down. While on the other hand renting cars is the viable option, but it’s an expensive option as renting cars in this day and age is getting expensive. Even if you find the cheapest deal for a rental car, you will get stuck with a little small car that is shaking on the highway and is not suitable or fitting for larger families.


We at Holiday-Inn realize that and want to make it easier for you to travel and travel in style.
We are partnering with all the big major, rental companies like Avis Budget, Enterprise, Discount, Dollar-thrifty, Alamo and Hertz. People who book a room at any of our hotel locations will get a premium discount code that will be valid to use any of the stated rental companies. These rental companies are found throughout every major airport and through most local cities. Renting a car has never been cheaper, with our 40% off code. You can get the car you want, at almost half price of the average rates at your local rental place. We have also listened to our brand loyal customers, and have given a 30% off code on higher end car groups. This way our customers can focus on the end destination rather than stressing about how to get there.




We plan on launching right before Christmas season, In November through two of our social media outlets. We will be launching this promotion/campaign on twitter and Facebook as they seem to be our largest platforms with the most number of users. We Believe we can reach out to more customers and potential customers using these platforms. With almost 1,043,509 followers on Facebook and 116,000 followers on twitter, we believe we can make this a successful campaign. We believe that even though small discounts (5 % to 10%) are offered by some of the big named hotel brands, Discounts like this are unheard off and not only give the customer satisfaction but also keeps them happy as they can now spend more money on the trip rather than the travel. This will be a game changer as people will save hundreds of dollars and if not thousands when renting a vehicle for a long time and staying with us.
