Bisha and Holiday-Inn both have a following on twitter. They both have successful twitter accounts in their own segment. While Bisha remains fairly the same with the number of followers compared to Facebook, Holiday Inn has taken a huge dip with the number of followers.   • As seen in the table, Holiday Inn has way more tweets and followers then Bisha, just like how it was in their Facebook pages. This is because Bisha competes in a smaller premium segment, and is a One Location Hotel that was recently made about a year ago.
First let’s talk about Holiday-Inn. This hotel has a pretty big following on twitter. They have almost 10,000 tweets, which is a lot of tweets. Even they have a lot of tweets, they don’t tweet very often and regularly as seen by the big gaps in the tweets. I have noticed a 5 to 12-day difference in some tweets, while some are even more.  They use their twitter for strictly promotion and industry related events. They mainly tweet about their hotels and their services. This brand does not use the 50/50 rule as seen in the tweets because they keep it strictly promotional. They advertise their own services or market their hotels.




  • This post has 29 retweets and 175 likes. The hotel is advertising a lot in once picture. Their tweets mention the word “Sunshine” and the hashtag “Panama City”. This grabs the customer’s attention and then they sweeten the deal with these beautiful pictures of the beach and clear water right beside the hotel. This is an amazing marketing tactic done through social media to lure customers In.


Now let’s talk about Bisha Hotel. Even though Bisha doesn’t have as big a following as Holiday Inn, they use twitter to their advantage to expand their marketing opportunities and grow as a brand. They have almost 2000 tweets, which is not a lot of tweets compared to some of the big names, but considering they opened last year in 2017 it’s not bad. Their account tweets often but not regularly, they tweet every 5 to 6 days so they keep their twitter feed fresh and exciting with new promotions. Their twitter is also strictly promotional with tweets about their services and their hotel.




  • This Post has 5 retweets and 10 likes.  As seen in the tweet, Bisha is basically promoting themselves by using a third part website who has listed them as one of the best hotels to stay in.
